Sandy Waterholes launch upgrade

If you fish on the Glenelg River and launch a boat from the Sandy Waterholes boat ramp, please be aware this will be closed for upgrading the week of November 20-24.

By the end of the upgrade works, the old timber static structure will have a new neighbour with a new, safer, floating jetty/pontoon-style boat launch.

This will mean access to the waterway will be better for everyone, and in times of high flows of river mouth closures, the river will still be accessible!

This upgrade is thanks to a project funded by the Victorian Government through the Better Boating Victoria grants program.
