New populations of threatened Button Wrinklewort created
Some of Australia’s most genetically diverse populations of the threatened daisy, the Button Wrinklewort, have been created by the Glenelg Hopkins CMA this spring.
The perennial daisy has a particular sub-set that is only found on the Victorian Volcanic Plains region of south-west Victoria and a genetic testing program has ensure the new populations have the greatest diversity and chance of establishment success.
