Harrow community planting – April 3
Fancy a free bacon and egg roll?
The best way to get one is to plant some native vegetation on the banks of the Glenelg River on Sunday, April 3 at Harrow.
The banks of the Glenelg have been cleared of the rank phalaris grasses in readiness for the planting of the low-growing native grasses, which will reduce fire risk and improve river visibility.
To participate, members of the public simply need to meet at the Harrow War Memorial at 10am and make the short walk to the planting site (approx 100m).
Participants should wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
